The Buschenschank with pastries and all sorts of homemade specialties from the farm store in itself is worth a stop. Because it has not worked out with the guest rooms, Markus Zeck, vulgo Hofjörgl, has now decided for campers. He told all this while he was leveling an area for another vineyard in the evening. It seems that the Styrian doesn’t know when to call it a day. For the benefit of his guests.
When the Hofjörgl begins to tell what they produce everything themselves on the farm, then the mouth waters: From home-smoked fish to smoked meats, fresh meat from lamb, game and pork to homemade juices, from must to Schilcher, he has many specialties to offer, which he sells in the family-run Buschenschank and in his farm store. Why he now offers with CAMPPA additionally two parking spaces for campers? “Actually, we wanted to make guest rooms for a long time, but that was unfortunately very complicated. And because we have enough space and read the free offer of CAMPPA in the Austrian Farmers’ Newspaper, we decided at short notice for two parking spaces for campers,” says the Styrian farmer.
They have a lot to offer. In addition to homemade food and drinks, there is also the possibility of a circular walk along its ponds, forests and vineyards. Children can experience different small animals. It is also possible to hike through Austria’s most pond-rich community with many nature experiences. “And if you like to go faster, you can rent an e-bike from a friend’s bike rental shop,” he says proudly of his offer. Either to explore the surroundings by yourself or with an individually compiled bike tour map. Back at the Hofjörgl, a shower and a comfortable place for a snack await the campers, from where they can enjoy Markus Zeck’s specialties as well as the view of the Koralpe.
According to Styrian legislation, mobile home owners must then leave their parking space after three nights at the latest. Markus Zeck is relaxed about it: “The guests do the check-in and check-out at the CAMPPA parking column on their own and I’m happy when new people come to us again and can enjoy our offers.” Since the offer with the park columns of CAMPPA is limited and living mobilists are meanwhile also in the winter gladly on the way, Markus Zeck vulgo Hofjörgl will welcome already starting from January first guests on its agriculture.
